College Relations

Promotes the development of student SHRM chapters and their affiliation with NEPA SHRM. Identifies opportunities for student
involvement with Chapter membership and activities. 

Community/External Relations

Develops, implements and evaluates community outreach and involvement activities appropriate to the goals of NEPA SHRM
and the needs of the regional northeast Pennsylvania community. 

Diversity

Informs the membership of state and federal legislative actions, or pending actions, that may impact the work of professional
identity of the membership. Maintains contact with state legislative liaison

Membership

Recruits and orients Chapter members. Maintains a directory of active members and record of committee assignments and/or
interests. Issues annual renewal notice to members. Develops appropriate promotional, informational and orientation materials. 

Programs/Professional Development

Plans and coordinates the monthly meetings of the Chapter, including the location, meal arrangements, guest speaker, and
program evaluation. Obtains recognition and prize items.  Plans and coordinates workshops, seminars, symposia on topics that
address the professional development needs of the membership. 

SHRM Foundation

Plans and coordinates the annual fundraiser for the SHRM Foundation. The SHRM Foundation has been established to support
and promote research, publications, scholarships, and other initiatives that directly benefit the human resource profession and
our local chapter. 

Technology
